2025 Black Friday Weekend Tech Deals
Black Friday week brings the lowest tech gear prices of the year — even lower than Boxing Day sales, which used to see the best prices.
Black Friday is the day after US Thanksgiving, so that's Nov. 28 this year.
Because it's so late in the month, most stores began offering Black Friday prices last weekend, and as a result, there's no stock left on many of the best deals.
Below are the best Black Friday deals we've found; check back often as we're updating this regularly, as some stores are improving their discounts to try to get a bigger srae of the shopping bonanza!
Almost all tech gear is on sale at one store or another, and most stores will price-match as long as the store with a lower price still has stock, so shop around!

London Drugs, Best Buy, Walmart, Staples, Andres, Visions, Costco, and other stores are offering gift cards of up to $300 when you buy a smartphone on a two-year contract, but there are even better deals
Stores are only offering good deals on iPhone 17 Pro models because they just can't get enough stock of the base iPhone 17 model, and the units they are getting, are selling for full price.
While the gift cards are appealing, if you do the math, the best Black Friday prices we've found so far are once again from Quebec-based Freedom Mobile.
Best iPhone deal: Freedom is selling an iPhone 16 for $0 on a two-year $69/month contract that gives you 200GB/month of Canada/USA/Mexico calling and data-roaming, plus 30GB of "Roam Beyond" data to use along with unlimited calling in 120+ countries around the world. At the end of two years, either give the phone back or pay $303 to keep it — that's a $696 saving!
Best Android deal: Freedom is also selling the Google Pixel 10 and the Galaxy S25 FE models both for $0 on a two-year $59/month contract (Black Friday morning update: now on a $49/month contract) which includes 100GB/month of Canada/USA/Mexico calling and data-roaming, plus 20GB of "Roam Beyond" data to use along with unlimited calling in 120+ countries around the world. At the end of two years, either give the phone back or pay $200 to keep the S25 FE or $360 to keep the Pixel 10. That's a $720 saving on the Samsung S25 FE, and a $739 saving on the Pixel 10.
They're selling an iPhone 17 Pro for $25 on a two-year $59/month contract that gives you 150GB/month of Canada/USA/Mexico calling and data-roaming, plus 250GB of "Roam Beyond" data to use along with unlimited calling in 120+ countries around the world. At the end of two years, either give the phone back or pay $639 to keep it — that's a $360 saving. The 17 Pro Max is $30/month on the same $59/month plan, with a $559 buy it out after wo years for a $360 saving.
They're also waiving the usual $45 activation fee for all new customers buying a phone.
These prices are for new Freedom Mobile customers only; current customers pay $10/month more.
London Drugs, Best Buy, and Costco are among the stores offering an iPhone 16, a Google Pixel Pro, or a Samsung Galaxy S25 FE for zero dollars on a new two-year contract, and they're also offering bonus gift cards of $150 to $300. However, the plans bundled with those offers are much more expensive than Freedom's, often upwards of $100/month, so you end up paying a lot more over two years than the value of the gift cards.
If you just want a better phone plan, Freedom Mobile once again has the best Black Friday deals
Quebec-based Freedom Mobile has cut their rate plans by $14/month for Black Friday pricing, and has also increased the amount of 5G data you get, and all their plans include unlimited Canada/USA/Mexico calling, and unlimited international texting…

"Roam Beyond" plans include unlimited calling in both the country you're in (works in 120+ countries) and back to Canada, at no extra cost. The $45 activation fee is waived on all these plans.
If you want to buy a new phone outright, Samsung Canada is selling the S25 and S25+ for $299 off & $289 off this Black Friday weekend
Apple 11th-gen iPad: $379 (save $131) at Walmart or $400 (save $100) at Best Buy and Staples
- The 11th-gen iPad (also known as iPad A16) has an 11" Liquid Retina display, with a Touch ID fingerprint reader on the edge, which allows it to have a noticably bigger screen, and it also has a faster processor, which is great if you want to play games on it, plus better front and back cameras.
- Walmart has the 11th-gen iPad (also known as iPad A16) on sale for $379 on Black Friday only.
- Best Buy and Staples both have the 11th-gen iPad 128GB model on sale throughout Black Friday week for $400 (a $100 saving), but get one ASAP, either in-store or online, before they sell out.

Refurbished Epson Eco-Tank printer/copier/scanner: $185
London Drugs has obtained another batch of like-new refurbished Epson Eco-Tank ET-2850 printer/copier/scanner units, which come with bottles of ink good for literally two years of printing for most people.
The ET-2850 loads paper from the top, which lets you use photo paper or card stock if you want. It also prints both wired and wirelessly.
While they last, they're just $185 — compared with $349 for a new one!

Wireless mice are on sale for $10 to $20 off at London Drugs
Logitech and InCase (Microsoft) mice are on sale at Black Friday prices now at London Drugs stores and online. Most mice are $10 to $20 off, although the discounts on some more expensive gaming models are even higher.
Other stores like Best Buy and Staples also have mice on sale, but not as many different models.
Apple MacBooks are on sale now with Black Friday deals: $300 off
Apple MacBooks are on sale all ready with Black Friday pricing at London Drugs, Best Buy, and Staples, with savings of about $300 on most models. Check prices before you shop, because discounts vary from model-to-model from store to store, and stores will price-match while there is stock, if you do your homework and ask!
HiSense 55" MiniLED 4K TV's: $700, save $600 at London Drugs
HiSense is the second-largest TV manufacturer in the world (behind Samsung), and is #1 in several premium categories including miniLED TV's.
Two of their 4K models are on sale for Black Friday at London Drugs, beating other stores:
- Their 55" U78QG miniLED model is on sale for $700, a $600 saving

Sony 55" OLED 4K smart TV: half price: $1998 at Atlas AVU
Sony is the the top-rated OLED 4K smart TV, and for Black Friday weekend, you can get their 55" 2024 A95L series model for half-price, which is a superb deal, at Atlas AVU in downtown Victoria.
They also have the 65" model on sale for $2998 (save $2000) and the 77" model for $5598.
Apple AirPods can be had for Black Friday weekend sale prices now for $40 to $60 off at Best Buy, Staples, Visions, and other stores
Apple TV 4K: $10 off ($169) at Visions
Apple was expected to release a new Apple TV 4K model this month, but they never did.
As a result, most stores didn't reorder the current model, and have little or no stock.
If you don't want to wait for the new model to be released in the new year, the only place where I could find the current Apple TV 4K on sale is at Visions, where it's $10 off for Black Friday weekend…
