2025 Black Friday Weekend Tech Deals
Black Friday week brings the lowest tech gear prices of the year — even lower than Boxing Day sales, which used to see the best prices.
Black Friday is the day after US Thanksgiving, so that'll be Nov. 28 this year.
It's called Black Friday because in years past, that's the date when most stores had sold enough product to financially go "into the black" and start making profit.
Over the years, it's expanded from the original one day, to a weekend, and now, to a whole week or more.
Because it's so late in the month this year, most stores have already started offering Black Friday prices, promising prices will not go lower.
Below are the best Black Friday deals we've found; check back often as we'll update this regularly, as some stores, in an attempt to beat the competition,will offer even-better deals as we get closer to Black Friday.
As inventories are low, we recommend you buy now while there is stock, and if a better price is offered between now and Black Friday, you can go back to the store and get a refund of the difference.
Almost all tech gear is on sale at one store or another, and most stores will price-match as long as the store with a lower price still has stock, so shop around!
Apple 11th-gen iPad: $400 (save $100) at both Best Buy and Staples
- The 11th-gen iPad has an 11" Liquid Retina display, with a Touch ID fingerprint reader on the edge, which allows it to have a noticably bigger screen, and it also has a faster processor, which is great if you want to play games on it, plus better front and back cameras.
- Best Buy and Staples both have the 11th-gen iPad 128GB model on sale NOW for $400 (a $100 saving), but get one ASAP, either in-store or online, before they sell out.

Through Dec. 1, London Drugs stores and online are selling a one-year three-device licence for just $25 (that's a $30 saving). It's good for Windows, Mac and Android devices — not needed for iPhones or iPads.
Nov. 22 update: Victoria-area stores are almost sold out, but expect more stock to arrive on Tuesday, so we suggest you wait till then or order online for in-store pickup.
Wireless mice are on sale for $10 to $20 off at London Drugs
Logitech and InCase (Microsoft) mice are on sale at Black Friday prices now at London Drugs stores and online. Most mice are $10 to $20 off, although the discounts on some more expensive gaming models are even higher.
Apple MacBooks are on sale now with Black Friday deals: $300 off
Apple MacBooks are on sale all ready with Black Friday pricing at London Drugs, Best Buy, and Staples, with savings of about $300 on most models. Check prices before you shop, because discounts vary from model-to-model from store to store, and stores will price-match while there is stock, if you do your homework and ask!
HiSense 55" MiniLED 4K TV's: $700, save $600 at London Drugs
HiSense is the second-largest TV manufacturer in the world (behind Samsung), and is #1 in several premium categories including miniLED TV's.
Two of their 4K models already have Black Friday pricing at London Drugs, beating other stores:
- Their 55" U78QG miniLED model is on sale for $700, a $600 saving
- If you want one for use in a room with a lot of daylight, their brighter 55" 4K U88QG model is on sale for $900, which is a $700 saving.
Apple AirPods can be had for Black Friday sale prices now for $40 to $60 off at Best Buy, Staples, and other stores
Best Buy, WalMart, Staples, and other stores are offering gift cards of up to $300 when you buy a new smartphone on a two-year contract
So far, stores are only offering good deals on iPhone 17 Pro models because they just can't get enough stock of the base iPhone 17 model, and the units they are getting, are selling for full price.
The best pre-Black Friday prices we've found so far are once again from Quebec-based Freedom Mobile.
They're selling an iPhone 17 Pro for $25 on a two-year $59/month contract that gives you 150GB/month of Canada/USA/Mexico calling and data-roaming, plus 250GB of "Roam Beyond" data to use along with unlimited calling in 120+ countries around the world. At the end of two years, either give the phone back or pay $639 to keep it — that's a $360 saving. The 17 Pro Max is $30/month on the same $59/month plan, with a $559 buy it out after wo years for a $360 saving.
They're selling an iPhone 16 for $0 on a two-year $69/month contract that gives you 200GB/month of Canada/USA/Mexico calling and data-roaming, plus 30GB of "Roam Beyond" data to use along with unlimited calling in 120+ countries around the world. At the end of two years, either give the phone back or pay $303 to keep it — that's a $696 saving!
They;re also selling the Google Pixel 10 and the Galaxy S25 FE models both for $0 on a two-year $59/month contract which includes 150GB/month of Canada/USA/Mexico calling and data-roaming, plus 25GB of "Roam Beyond" data to use along with unlimited calling in 120+ countries around the world. At the end of two years, either give the phone back or pay $200 to keep the S25 FE or $360 to keeop the P{ixel 10. That's a $720 saving on the Samsung S25 FE ,and a $739 saving on the Pixel 10.
They're also waiving the usual $45 activation fee.
These prices are for new Freedom Mobile customers only; current customers pay $10/month more.
It's possible the prices could drop even more come Black Friday, but if that happens, you have 15-day price protection, and you'd just have to call Freedom Customer Care to get the better deal.
